Vista Irrigation District Announces New Smart Leak Detector Rebate Program (November 23, 2020)
Vista Irrigation District is now offering a smart leak detector rebate program. Residential customers will have more opportunities to save water and manage water use under this new program approved by the district’s Board of Directors.
Vista Irrigation District residential customers are eligible for a rebate up to $100 when they purchase a qualifying smart leak detector device. This program provides customers an opportunity to invest in new tools to increase water use efficiency and catch costly leaks in real-time. Smart leak detectors enable customers to monitor their home’s water use in real-time, 24/7, and sync to smartphones to provide alerts if there is high consumption or a leak on the property.
“Smart leak detectors not only detect leaks, but they also provide residential customers the ability to monitor and understand their water use,” said water conservation specialist Brent Reyes.
